Import Fees, Duties & Taxes – What You Need to Know.

At 4ROAM, we ship worldwide – to customers across North America, Europe, Australia, and beyond.

Because of this, import taxes and customs rules can vary a lot from country to country. Here’s a quick and easy explanation 👇

 

1. Will I have to pay anything extra?

It depends on where you live.

Some countries charge import duties or taxes (like VAT or GST) when a package arrives. Others don’t.

These fees are not included in the checkout price unless you live in:

• 🇦🇺 Australia – GST is included, no extra fees.
  

For other countries (like USA, EU, Canada, UK, or Switzerland), there might be a small customs fee or tax charged by your local postal service when you receive your package.

 

2. Why don’t we charge these fees upfront?

Some online shops include taxes at checkout by using expensive couriers DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) SERVICE.

But these services cost 2–3x more, and they don’t ship everywhere.

To keep our shipping prices low and offer affordable global delivery, we use standard international rates – just like most small brands.

So instead of charging you more upfront, we:

✅ Keep product prices as low as possible

✅ Show a clear note at checkout that import fees may apply

✅ Let your country’s postal or courier service handle any local taxes (if any)
